I’m not sure if I’ll ever grow out of the nervous energy that occupies me each time he leaves, or the tingling excitement from the prospect of seeing him home in a few hours.

I feel that it’s time to step up my game. Phone photos, though lovely on a small screen, look underwhelming in the harsher reality of a 10x15 standard photo print.
As long as there's pen and paper or keyboard and screen, the words will keep flowing like how the river flows to find the sea.
If I were to give myself a piece of advice now, it should be: Write like no one's reading.
I've been away, I know. But here I am again, ready to chat and share - listicle-style - a few highlights from the last two months.
Only recently have I started making an active effort to complete books. It has been a while since I last lost myself in the delicious fictional world of my heroines.
In my excitement – and complete lack of foresight – I named the plant Hope. Little did I know that its name and its short life would be fodder for dark humor.
